"Gemini Rights" is the second studio album by American musician Steve Lacy, released on July 15, 2022 by RCA Records. It follows Lacy's debut album "Apollo XXI" and was preceded by the singles "Mercury", "Bad Habit" and "Sunshine", with "Bad Habit" becoming Lacy's first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and later his first number one single.
"Gemini Rights" received positive reviews and reached the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart and the top of the Top Rock Albums chart. It was also nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
The album features guest appearances from Fousheé and Lacy's bandmate Matt Martians and includes a mix of indie rock, alternative R&B, funk, jazz, and psychedelia.
Lacy produced around 90% of the album and came up with the title while at a bar, hoping the album would make people feel more love for one another and be open to interpretation by listeners.
