"Bush" (written in all capital letters) is Snoop Dogg's thirteenth studio album. It was released on May 12, 2015, by Doggy Style Records and I Am Other, and distributed by Columbia Records. The album was produced by Pharrell Williams, with additional production by Chad Hugo. It includes guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Stevie Wonder, Charlie Wilson, Gwen Stefani, T.I., and Rick Ross. "Bush" was Snoop Dogg's first album under the name Snoop Dogg after using the name Snoop Lion for a reggae album and Snoopzilla for a funk collaboration.
The album was promoted by three singles: "Peaches N Cream", "So Many Pros", and "California Roll". Critics generally gave positive reviews, and it debuted at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 and number one on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It followed Snoop Dogg's twelfth studio album, "Reincarnated", which he released under the name Snoop Lion.
Snoop Dogg first previewed a song he was working on with Pharrell in August 2014, and in September 2014, he announced on Instagram that he was collaborating with Pharrell on a new project. The album is Snoop Dogg's first entirely hip-hop album since "Doggumentary" (2011). The album's title was revealed by Snoop Dogg at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2015.
One of the album's tracks, "So Many Pros", was originally recorded by Timbaland and featured Pharrell and Justin Timberlake. The final track was reworked by Pharrell after Timbaland's album was cancelled, with Chad Hugo, Charlie Wilson, Pharrell, and Rhea Dummett providing backing vocals. The song's lyrics were largely unchanged, except for the title phrase "so many hoes" which was changed to "so many pros".
