Lil Nas X "7"

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He gained worldwide recognition for his country rap single "Old Town Road" in early 2019, which went viral and eventually became diamond certified with over ten million certified units in streaming and sales combined. The song spent a record-breaking 19 weeks at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, with several remixes, including one featuring country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. During this time, Lil Nas X publicly came out as gay, making history as the only artist to do so while having a number-one record.

Following the success of "Old Town Road", Lil Nas X released his debut extended play, titled "7" which produced two more popular singles: "Panini" and "Rodeo". In 2021, he released his debut studio album, "Montero" which includes chart-topping singles "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" and "Industry Baby" (with Jack Harlow) and top-ten single "That's What I Want". He has won several awards, including two MTV Video Music Awards and a Grammy Award for Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. He has also been named one of Time's 25 most influential people on the internet in 2019 and was included on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2020.
