"Curtain Call: The Hits" is Eminem's first collection of his most popular songs, released on December 6, 2005, by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records. It also includes four new tracks, such as "Fack", "When I'm Gone", "Shake That" featuring Nate Dogg, and a live performance of "Stan" with Elton John at the 43rd Grammy Awards.

The album reached number one on various charts, including the US Billboard 200 and UK Albums Chart, and was certified Diamond in the US and quintuple platinum in New Zealand. Eminem announced the release of a sequel to the album titled "Curtain Call 2" on July 11, 2022, which features material from his later works, and was released on August 5, 2022.

The album also has a clean version available, which excludes the tracks "Intro" and "FACK" due to their explicit content. The track "My Name Is" is moved to the first track on the clean version. The songs on the clean version are the same as the original versions of their respective albums, with the exception of "Guilty Conscience", which uses the radio edit. Some profanities are still present in some tracks, as certain words were not censored in the original versions of The Slim Shady LP or The Marshall Mathers LP, such as "shit", "bitch", and "ass". However, the clean version of "Just Lose It" does not censor "ass", whereas in the album Encore, "ass" is replaced with "thing".
