38 Spesh is the stage name of Justin Harrell, an American rapper and producer born in Rochester, New York on December 29, 1984. He started rapping in the early 2000s and gained recognition when he appeared on the Sirius XM show Invasion Radio hosted by DJ Green Lantern in 2008.
His music was also featured in XXL Magazine in 2009. After spending two years in prison, he was paroled to Atlanta, Georgia where he pursued a full-time career in music. He released several mixtapes and albums with other artists affiliated with his Trust Comes First Music group, and is known for his unique rapping voice and strong punchlines. Notable rappers and producers he has worked with include Styles P, Jadakiss, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, Fred the Godson, AZ, Noreaga, and Kool G Rap.
