Kurt Cobain was an American musician and songwriter who was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the grunge band Nirvana. Cobain was known for his distinctive voice, raw lyrics, and unconventional guitar style, and Nirvana's music has had a lasting influence on the rock genre.
