It was released on November 9, 1993, by Loud Records, and was recorded at Firehouse Studio in New York City from late 1992 to early 1993. The album was produced by **RZA**, who was the leader of the group. The album's name comes from two martial arts films, "Enter the Dragon" (1973) and "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" (1978).
