OK Computer

_OK Computer_ is the third studio album by the English rock band **Radiohead**, released in Japan on 21 May 1997 and in the UK on 16 June 1997. **Radiohead** self-produced the album with Nigel Godrich, an arrangement they have used for their subsequent albums. The band distanced themselves from the guitar-centred, lyrically introspective style of their previous album, _The Bends_. _OK Computer_'s abstract lyrics, densely layered sound and eclectic influences laid the groundwork for **Radiohead**'s later, more experimental work.
