_Prince_ is the second studio album by American musician **Prince**. It was released on October 19, 1979 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was written, arranged, composed, produced and performed entirely by **Prince**. Reviewing in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981), Robert Christgau wrote: "This boy is going to be a big star, and he deserves it".

"Welcome 2 America" is **Prince**'s 40th and final studio album, released posthumously on July 30, 2021 through NPG Records. It was recorded in March 2010 before the Welcome 2 America Tour and is the first full previously unreleased studio album of Prince material to be released after his death.
